BOOK REVIEW - JEFFREY WANDS - THE PSYCHIC IN YOU
KUAN- YIN
COMPASSION
I made the vow
and kept my word
I reached enlightenmet
but rather than pass over
to the state of eternal bliss
I retained human form
till all beings attain enlightenment
Keeping human form
enabled me to know more deeply
the pain others experience
Because of my deep feelings
because of my understanding
of misery and suffering
because of my decision
I am called The Compassionate One
She Whose Name Alleviates All Suffering
But wouldn't you prefer to wait
feeling what others feel
suffering what others suffer
knowing their pain as your own
wait till the end of all suffering and pain
till all things attain enlightenment?
For me there was no other choice...
A WAY TO WHOLENESS THROUGH THE GODDESS AND RITUAL
~Amy Sophia Marashinsky
Recently, I had the pleasure of reading the first of two books by author and internationally recognized MEDIUM JEFFREY WANDS! The title of the book is:
THE PSYCHIC IN YOU -Understand and Harness Your Psychic Power
with Tom Philbin

Jeffrey Wands has appeared on The Maury Povich Show for several years now and hosts his own radio show The Breakfast Club from Long Island, New York (97.5 WALK FM). Currently, he has been busy with his book tour as seen on the Today! show, Extreme Make-Over House Edition, and his regular visits to The Maury Povich Show to name just a few of the events unfolding in his life.
THE PSYCHIC IN YOU -
Understand and Harness Your Natural Psychic Power
This book reads like you are sitting down to tea with Jeffrey himself (just as he did with his mentors The Aunts). In a way, it is sort of like having a cup of tea with all 3 of them...and let me say they are a MIGHTY 3.
Mighty, in the sheer magnitude of their concern for their fellow brothers and sisters that walk this Earth. PSYCHIC/MEDIUMS themselves, The Aunts took Jeffrey under their wing, recognizing the responsibility they had in helping him *change the world* one person, or spirit as it were, at a time.
Jeffrey shares those visits with The Aunts, and brings them to life. It's as if they are still here teaching through Jeffrey and we have the unique opportunity to learn from their wisdom. The 3 of them, Jeffrey and The Aunts, remind me of what the Buddhists call Boddhi-Sattvas...those souls that have the opportunity to enter the state of NIRVANA but instead choose to wait... and help every single soul attain that same enlightenment.
The Reluctant Psychic
Jeffrey describes what it was like for him growing up to recognize, accept, and develop his psychic abilities...He wasn't always ready and/or willing to accept his gifts,
"I had my first psychic visit from a dead person when I was seven and still living with my mom in Islip. I remember the visit clearly, which is not surprising since it scared the bejeebbers out of me."
As Jeffrey goes on to describe his phenomenal childhood experiences with the dead, he then teaches the reader that there is psychic ability in us ALL. He suggests that although people have psychic abilities to varying degrees, with meditation, prayer, and fun exercises in the book, he teaches us how to tap into our very own, sometimes dormant abilities.
At the end of each chapter of this 242 page book, he summarizes the *meat & potatoes* with something he playfully titled Deja Vu. By the time, you finish this book you will be ready for more!!!! Thankfully, Jeffrey's latest book is out and it's titled:
ANOTHER DOOR OPENS -
A Psychic Explains How Those in the World of Spirit Continue to Impact Our Lives
I am a little over a quarter through this latest book and it's as if Jeffrey just picks up right where he left off...It's a continuation of sorts. It's a journey through the Spirit World. I DO HOPE there are more books to come because this PSYCHIC/MEDIUM has a world of information to impart.
I can only thank him for his courage in coming forward in first accepting his Gift and then sharing with us ALL on such a broad scale.
Thank You Jeffrey,
From ME & the World of Spirit for being such a pure instrument!...
